That would be an Oreo stuffed inside a chocolate chip cookie.

A total “two for one” deal.
And who doesn’t love “twofers?”
These are sorta kinda like a cousin to the slutty brownies. More like a second cousin. You know, not the same generation, but still related?
They have some of, but not all, the genes of the slutty brownies.
They are simply missing the brownie part.
It’s ok, you won’t miss it here.
Not only are these super simple to make, but they are downright delicious.
And it’s fun to see the look on people’s faces when they realize that these are not just any old chocolate chip cookie. I repeat, these are not just any old chocolate chip cookie!

Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yields about 16 enormous cookies

Ingredients

2 sticks butter, softened

3/4 C light brown sugar

1 C granulated sugar

2 eggs

1 Tbsp vanilla extract

3 1/2 C flour

1 tsp kosher salt

1 tsp baking soda

10 oz. chocolate chips
-
1 bag double stuffed Oreo Cookies
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In mixer, beat butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla until combined.

In a separate bowl mix flour, salt and baking soda.

Slowly add dry mixture to wet mixture until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

Using a cookie scoop, scoop dough and place on top of one Oreo. Take another scoop of dough and place on bottom of Oreo. Seal edge to cover Oreo completely with dough.

Place cookies on a prepared baking sheet and cook 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Remove cookies from oven and place on a rack to cool.
