Holy smokes.
If you’re looking for a quick, delicious, addictive no-bake treat, you’ve come to the right place. You will absolutely not be able to get your hand out of the bowl once you taste this stuff!
And if you tell me you can, I won’t believe you. ![]()
Although it can be enjoyed year-round, this treat tends to pop up around Christmas time. I bet Santa can’t resist this crunchy cereal coated with chocolate and peanut butter and kissed with a blanket of powdered sugar! Comprised of six simple ingredients, this snack with the playful name takes all of 15 minutes to make.
Puppy Chow
Slightly adapted from Chex.com
Yields 9 Servings (1 cup each)
Ingredients

9 C Chex cereal

1/4 C butter
-
1 C milk chocolate chips
-
1/2 C peanut butter
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
2 C powdered sugar
Directions

Measure out cereal and place in a large bowl.

In the microwave, heat butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips in 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted and smooth.

Add vanilla extract and stir.

Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.

Pour cereal into a large plastic bag and add sugar. Seal bag and shake well.

Remove from bag and place on waxed paper to dry.
