“Slutty Brownies” are having a moment. I made these trendy, promiscuous treats a few weeks ago, and Lloyd is still talking about them.
So just what are “slutty brownies”, you ask?
They are a delicious semi-homemade cookie/brownie hybrid bar of sorts. These brownies consist of a layer of cookie dough, a layer of Oreo cookies, topped with brownie batter, then baked and inhaled. And they are mighty addicting.
Plus, their name is fun.
Why are they called “slutty brownies?” According to The Londoner, who started this trend, they are so named as they are “oh so easy and more than just a little bit filthy.” Or, “I guess a lot goes into it?” as the ever- wise Jessica Simpson recently quipped on Jay Leno.
The blonde bombshell claims to be having pregnancy cravings for these right now. She calls them “heavenly.” I won’t argue with a knocked up super-fabulous celeb. Even one who doesn’t know the difference between chicken and tuna. She was, after all, married to super hot former 90 Degree front man Nick Lachey for a hot minute.
Right after I typed that I realized his boy band was actually called 98 Degrees.
I just had a Jessica Simpson moment.
Jessica may not be the brightest star in Hollywood, but if there’s one thing pregnant women know, it’s dessert. Plus, her shoe line and pocketbooks are kind of amazing. It’s only fair to assume her taste in desserts is also top notch.
Whatever you want to call ‘em, just make ‘em.

As seen on What’s Gaby Cooking via The Londoner
Ingredients
-
1 box of cookie mix, prepared as instructed or 1 sleeve of cookie dough
-
1 box of brownie mix, prepared as instructed
-
1 Box Oreo Cookies
Directions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
-
Prepare both the cookie mix and brownie mix as the package instructs. (You may want to make your cookie dough a tiny bit “wetter” due to the longer cooking time. Personally, I did not try this but wish I had!)
- Cover the bottom of the baking pan with your cookie dough, patting down to cover entire surface.
- Top with a layer of Oreos. Fit in as many as you can.
- Pour your brownie batter over Oreo layer.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until brownie layer is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
- When completely cooled, use a sharp knife to score brownies.
I dare you to have just one. ![]()
